The St Veorncia Adult Assocaition was reformed in the early 1980's after Fr. James McClendon wanted to get the younger parishioners more involved in the church.
The group was originally known as "The Young Adult Association in the early 1960's. The organization was formulated as a means for parishioners aged 21 and older to congregate and grow closer to God by fellowshipping with one another through friendship and prayer.
Throughout the years we have held many activities to support St. Veronica and the community such as painting the rectory, decorating the church for Christmas, and assisting with the upkeep of the church grounds.
We have had many fundraisers over the years such as car washes, dinners, Halloween and New Year Eve parties among many others. We supported Villa Veronica by holding our annual Ski Trip in February. The Adult Association also held annual retreats under the leadership of the late Margaret Brogden and sponsored many trips to Sights and Sounds Theater in Lancaster Pennsylvania. We served our community and others by holding Back to School Drives, Bowl a Thons for education, and "Bags for the Homeless.
