In 2019 St Veroncia and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ellicott City decided to embark on a prayer partner program for the Lenten Season. 12 individuals from each parish including the two pastors agreed to meet in prayer once each week during Lent. The season was started by St Veronicas going to Ash Wednesday Mass at OPLH and the season was closed out by a half day retreat for prayer partners at St. Veroncia during the Easter season. In oits 3rd year, many of the prayer partners continue to prya together weekly outside of the Lenten season. It has served as a major stepping stone for relationship building between the two parishes.
