Our Annual Sunscreen collection is for children in remote villages in Nigeria who have Albanisim but no access to life saving sunscreen.The number of children dying from skin cancer is alarming when using sunscreen daily could prevent those deaths.  Extreme poverty is another reason they do not have access to life saving sunscreen. Suncscreen cream with an SPF of 50 or better is accepted. It can be dropped off at the parish or shipped directly to the parish. Monetary doantions for the purchase of sunscreen or to help with shipping costs are also accepted. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Collection begins in May and items are shipped to Nigeria in July. Distribution in Nigeria takes place in February at the beginning of their summer season.
